a typical day...

well every day is different, but i will do my best to give you the best description of my days/nights...
I usually wake up around 10 every day. and then i have breakfast in our house. then i usually go to the internet hub by our house to check my email and talk to people on skype. for those of you who don't know, i have friends that are studying abroad in london and i still have friends in the states. usually when i wake up is usually dinner time at home. i can usually get at least one person online from home or one of my friends in london. then i get on the bus. we live about 25 mins by bus from the university, so that is usually a good time for us to listen to music or read. we have a bus pass that we buy and it lasts us 10 rides, and that will usually last us like a wee or so. then class time....bored a lot....i mean learn lots of new and interesting things.
i've met a few more americans, but i've also met a few aussies as well, especially in my theater craft class. i made a new friend dean, and he gives me a ride home every thursday so i can save a bus ride. plus it's kinda fun to ride in a aussie car and tell him about america and hear a lot about aussie history. dean reminds me of a lot of friends back home, so that is awesome too.
then after classes i usually sit around and the house and then sometimes go out. going out is a big thing here, but i'm not the type of person to like go out to bars every night, but i do go every once and a while and it is so much fun. we play pool, ping pong, and we just hang out with each other. i'v met a lot of people in our program and they are all so awesome!
thats usally the typical day for me. if there is anything you want me to talk about comment or email me and let me know and i will gladly write about it. :)
hope everything is well where ever you are! love!

My B

i'm so sorry i haven't been blogging for those of you who are really following, i guess i'm not the best at this whole thing, but i'm trying. As some of you also know i do not have internet at my house, so i have to walk about a block to get to a place that has wi fi. it's sorta a hassle, but it's better than going through getting internet for our house.

i'm about to enter my 4th week of school and so far it's been pretty good. i'm starting to get the hang of classes and homework here. homework mostly includes doing a journal about what we learned that day in class. it's pretty interesting since i've only really done that in 2 classes at APU, it's a good system.

spring break (which is 10 days) is about 2 weeks away, and neille and i are trying to decide where to go. we have a few ideas, but we are kinda working on which is cheaper :)

as far as home sick goes i'm doing all right. i'm staying in touch with people from back home and with friends who are also abroad and that helps a lot. also planning for next semester at APU helps me not get as home sick cause it feels like i'm back at home.

i will try to write more as time goes on, i miss and love you all. hope everything is well where ever you are :)

love, allison
